Responsible for recruiting and training eligible players,
organizing, implementing, coordinating and supervising all aspects
of the team sport and for attending practices and games;
Responsible for knowledge of and adhering to league rules and
best practices pertaining to sport techniques, rules and
regulations;
Communicate daily with Assistant Director of Athletics
regarding season progression including details regarding practices,
game results, and player eligibility;
Distribute and collect all team equipment to players throughout
the season;
Represents the university and team at all appropriate athletic
events (e.g. competitions, conferences, and college sanctioned
programs such as open houses);
Assists with game day set-up and breakdown;
Other duties as assigned.

assign other duties as required to meet the needs and foster the
mission of the College.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Experience coaching basketball at a competitive level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative

- Experience working in a community college or similar
environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need;
- Recruiting experience.

Salary Range: $6,500 per season
