Offer Description
Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology announces a competition for the position of ASSISTANT (M/F) in the following employee groups: research and teaching field of study Engineering and technology; discipline environmental engineering, mining and energy in the Division of Use of Energy and Refrigeration, Institute of Heat Engineering at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology which shall be the primary place of employment as defined by the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science hereinafter referred to as ‘the Law’.
1.Candidates are required:
- to have completed higher education with a master’s degree or equivalent (in Energy or a related field), with a specialization in refrigeration and air conditioning (or equivalent),
- very good command of English and Polish,
- F-gas personnel certificate (required for hands-on laboratory work),
- qualification certificate for the operation of equipment, installations, and networks G1 (E) electrical power qualification (required for planned laboratory work),
- documented experience working on research and development projects,
- documented authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications/articles,
- documented participation (presentation) at scientific and technical conferences,
- documented experience conducting training sessions in the field of energy engineering,
- documented experience in the design of refrigeration systems,
- proficiency in the following software: Coolpack, Siemens TIA-Portal, AutoCAD, Ansys Fluent,
- certified OZC (heating load calculation) auditor,
- Python programming skills,
- readiness to conduct teaching classes in the fields of refrigeration and air conditioning, as well as the fundamentals of electrical engineering and electronics.
2.The person applying for the post should satisfy the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science and in § 118-121 of the Warsaw University of Technology Statute.
3.Candidates shall submit the following documents:
- a letter of application to the Vice-Rector for General Affairs
- a CV
- candidate’s personal information form;
- copy of the diploma of higher education confirming the obtained master’s degree or an equivalent degree
- a list of research, teaching and organizational output and achievements
- other documents certifying additional qualifications
- acknowledgement of WUT as a primary place of employment, as defined in the Act of Law on Higher Education and Science
- a declaration on:
- a) the full capacity to perform acts in law
- b) enjoying full civil rights
- c) not being convicted by a valid sentence for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offence
- d) no disciplinary penalty as defined in Article 276 section 1
items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 being imposed on them
