The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is ranked among the top 5 in NIH research funding. We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level (non-tenure track) to join our dynamic team and serve in our vibrant community-based academic radiation oncology practice at the Central Maryland Radiation Oncology Center (CMRO) in Columbia, MD. CMRO is a partnership between University of Maryland Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

A formal affiliate of the nationally renowned University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, we work to extend and enhance the quality of the lives of our cancer patients in a faith-based environment.
- Medical Physics Expertise: Led by Dr. Amit Sawant, Vice Chair of Physics Research, our Medical Physics team is robust, with over 30 faculty members, dosimetrists, and residents. Research initiatives in treatment planning, tumor motion management, and inter-fraction image guidance are well-supported.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $238,250 - $560,944 based on experience and rank.

Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland.
- A medical degree from an accredited institution (domestic or foreign equivalent).
- Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and working in a collaborative team environment.
