The successful candidate must demonstrate promise of continued creative excellence, excellence in teaching, and appropriate preparation to assume service responsibilities within the Creative Writing Program, including the undergraduate Literary Prose Concentration. The department will select a candidate who can contribute, through research, teaching, and service, to the diversity and excellence of a well-established academic community. Rank will be determined based on qualifications.

Required Qualifications:
• MFA in Creative Writing
Preferred Qualifications:
• at least three years of teaching experience at the university level
• at least two literary books released by nationally recognized publishing houses
• significant publications in secondary or sub-genre
