Assistant or Associate Professor of Education
Brescia University seeks full-time faculty members whose teaching philosophy aligns with our mission and who are passionate about high-quality teaching, student mentorship, and inclusive learning environments.
This is a 9-month position beginning Fall 2027
Experience and Education requirements:
- Master's degree in Education or a related field required
- Doctoral degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Current or previous KY teaching or administrative certification preferred.
- Minimum of three years of successful P–12 or higher education experience preferred.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved course syllabi and university policies.
- Facilitate student learning through effective instructional practices and meaningful engagement.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Support accreditation, assessment, and reporting requirements as applicable.
- Utilize the University's learning management system and instructional technologies.
- Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and school partners.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and program initiatives as requested.
