Assistant or Associate Professor of Engineering
Hope College invites applications for a tenure-track position in electrical engineering or computer engineering or related fields at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin in August 2026. A successful candidate will demonstrate a broad understanding of either electrical engineering topics or civil engineering topics, with the expectation of being able to teach all levels of courses and laboratories in their area of expertise. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, externally funded research program that actively engages undergraduate students. Startup funds and internal resources are available to support new research efforts.

Candidates must hold a minimum of a Ph.D. (ABD is accepted) in related field.
This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities.
