Position Summary
The Occupational Therapy Program in the Department of Graduate Health Professions, School of Health & Human Sciences (SHHS) at Indiana University - Indianapolis invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track faculty position. The preferred start date is January 2027; however, a Fall 2027 start date may be considered depending on candidate availability. Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to teach and mentor both entry-level and post-professional OTD students. The Tenure rank faculty position will also be responsible for developing an active research agenda in their area of expertise, generate external funding, engage in online and classroom teaching, and provide school and university service.
Duties for the Assistant or Associate Professor Position:

The university is making significant investments in research, including the launch of two new institutes: the Convergent Bioscience and Technology Institute (CBATI) and the Institute for Human Health and Wellbeing (H2W). Additionally, a $138 million grant from the Lilly Endowment will support the IU LAB, a state-of-the-art facility at the 16 Tech site designed to position Indiana as a national leader in bioscience discovery, commercialization, and talent development.

- An earned research doctorate in a field relevant to occupational therapy such as but not limited to rehabilitation science, public health, behavioral health, or health education.
