The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of spine surgery with specialization in complex spinal deformity surgery, including specialized training in both adult and pediatric spine deformity. Candidates for this position must demonstrate professional and clinical focus in spinal deformity. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be ABNS certified or eligible. Training in a post-graduate spine fellowship is also required.
Teaching responsibilities may include education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include specializing in the practice of complex spinal deformities in pediatric and adult patients.
