The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina is seeking exceptional candidates to join as a tenure-track faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry starting August 16, 2025. Broad areas of expertise in analytical/environmental chemistry with experience in aquatic systems are welcome. Candidates are expected to establish a vigorous, externally supported research program and have a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Required Education and Experience
The minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, or a closely related field, with a focus on aquatic systems by the start date of employment.
