The Institute for Advanced Economic Research (IAER) at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels. The strong candidates for all fields in economics will be considered. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in: (i) applied microeconomics, and (ii) macroeconomics. Responsibilities include developing a strong research program and teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Junior (Assistant Professor) tenure-track applicants must show potential for engaging in outstanding research and developing excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, and must have met the requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics or related field by the time of appointment.

Senior (Associate/Full Professors) applicants will have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and commit to an active research program. They will have a proven record of mentoring and guiding research of doctoral students, a proven record of excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, a proven commitment to a continuing state-of-the-art research program, and a record of leadership or potential for leadership.
