About School/College/Institute

Based in China and with a global focus, Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS) aims to build a technology-focused premier global business school from China, by upholding the 5"I" philosophy of being “international, interdisciplinary, innovative, inclusive and integrative”, with continued emphases on 3 strategic pillars - Global ZIBS, Digital ZIBS, and the ZIBS Ecosystem.

ZIBS offers five postgraduate programs, namely Master of China Studies (MCS), international Master of Business Administration (iMBA), international Master of Finance (iMF), international Master of Fine Arts (iMFA) and international Master of Data Science (iMDS), one undergraduate program in Global Communication and Management (GCM) for international students, as well as executive education programs and customized training programs.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct high-level research in the subject area, contribute in development of the discipline;
2. Perform high-quality graduate and undergraduate teaching and complete the teaching hours prescribed by ZIBS;
3. Enhance his/her own international academic impact, play an active role in international academic exchange, engage in services that contribute to the development of ZIBS.

Requirement

Professor Qualification: well-known scholars, academicians and highly-cited scholars in his/her own areas, with extensive experience in teaching and research as well as the ability to lead the development of disciplines.

Associate Professor Qualification: assistant professor or above in world-renowned universities, strong candidates of 'national young talent programme'

Assistant Professor Qualification: early-career academics show academic potential and are competitive in the application of 'national or provincial talent programs' (applicants with postdoctoral research experience will be preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Salary: CNY450,000-CNY900,000

Additional Salary info:

1. Start-up fund;
2. Lab and office space according to research needs;
3. Rental of a fully furnished apartment, or purchase of a high-end on-campus apartment at a preferential rate;
4. Enrollment of children in preferred local/international school.

About Haining

The international campus of Zhejiang University is located in the city of Haining, Zhejiang. Haining is located between Shanghai and Hangzhou, with a distance of about 126 kilometers to Shanghai and about 70 kilometers to Hangzhou. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive to Shanghai and 1 hour to drive to Hangzhou. In addition, it takes only 13 minutes to go to Hangzhou by high-speed train and 45 minutes to go to Shanghai, so the transportation is very convenient. Besides, Haining is home to a wealth of historical heritage, including ancient city walls, old towns, temples, and traditional Jiangnan gardens. It is also one of the origins of Liangzhu culture. Haining features picturesque landscapes, a pleasant climate, making it a desirable place to live.
