Assistant Professor (Attending)
The Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time academic hematologist-oncologist at the Assistant Professor level.
Applicants must be board-certified in hematology and medical oncology and have completed advanced subspecialty training in bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in basic and preclinical research focused on the radiobiological effects of radiation on engineered cellular therapies, including CAR T cells. They should also have expertise in translational research, including the design and execution of early-phase (Phase I/II) clinical trials. Experience applying single-cell RNA sequencing to characterize treatment response, cellular heterogeneity, and mechanisms of resistance is highly desirable, as is incorporating sublethal radiation into lymphodepletion and conditioning regimens prior to bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of academic productivity, including publications in high-impact journals.
Salary ranges from 235,000.00 - $520,000.00.
