- Earned Doctorate
Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field - Undergraduate Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited
program - Relevant industry experience
- A strong interest in effective undergraduate teaching while integrating theory with
applications and developing laboratory experiences - Expertise in automation including, but not limited to, electromechanical systems,
mechatronics, sensors and actuators, autonomous systems, and robotics - Research or industry experience in the aforementioned areas is
preferred.
