Position description
The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Behavioral Marketing with an expected start date of July 1, 2027.
The Haas marketing group is widely recognized for its capability to create cutting-edge knowledge and new theories in the marketing field as well as its related fields such as psychology and economics. Faculty members investigate substantive issues in literatures such as judgment and decision making, persuasion, research methodology, behavioral economics, neuroscience, self and identity, attitudes, and pricing.
At Berkeley Haas, we believe that a fundamental step in redefining the business leader is to get our culture right, because this culture encourages students to develop the mindset and behaviors of innovative leaders. Berkeley Haas students, faculty, staff, and alumni live our distinctive culture out loud by embracing our four Defining Leadership Principles.
Berkeley Haas is committed to addressing the family needs of faculty, including dual career couples and single parents. We are also interested in candidates who have had non-traditional career paths or who have taken time off for family reasons, or who have achieved excellence in careers outside academia. For information about potential relocation to Berkeley, or career needs of accompanying partners and spouses, please visit the Office for Faculty Equity and Welfare's website for New Faculty.
