Offer Description
Competition requirements:
- Doctoral degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of technical informatics and telecommunications.
- Readiness to conduct research and teaching activities, as well as to participate in organizational work for the University.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and computer networks.
- At least 4 years of teaching experience or a recognized professional track record in the relevant specialization.
- A very good command of spoken and written Polish, sufficient to enable the candidate to teach.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, sufficient to enable the delivery of lessons.
- Availability 5 days weeks.
- Readiness to conduct classes in the seat of Bialska Academy in a stationary and non-stationary form.

- Declaration that, in the event of employment, the John Paul II University in Biała Podlaska will be the primary place of employment*.
- Declaration by the candidate that they meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, consolidated text)*.

Competition Results
- The competition will be held in September 2026.
- The competition results do not constitute employment for the candidate, but rather constitute a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision regarding employment rests with the Rector.
- The John Paul II Biała Podlaska University reserves the right to end the competition without selecting a candidate.
- We will contact the selected candidates.
- The competition results will be made public in accordance with Article 119, Section 3 of the Act on Higher Education and Science.
- The competition is not subject to appeal within the meaning of the provisions of administrative procedure. The candidate has the right to submit a request to the Rector for information regarding the competition process.
Information on Personal Data Processing
- The John Paul II Biała Podlaska University is the controller of personal data.
- Personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting the competition process in accordance with applicable law.
- The candidate has the right to access and correct their data, and to exercise other rights arising from personal data protection regulations.
- The application documents of candidates with whom an employment contract is not signed will be kept for the period necessary to complete the competition process and will then be destroyed.
