Assistant Professor, Broadcast Media
Job Summary
Teach broadcast production from the initial phases through to the final airing of programming, and other classes as needed.

Minimum and Desired Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- PHD in broadcasting production, broadcasting, or related field.
- Terminal degree in broadcasting or related field.
- Familiarity with equipment and software used in television broadcasting.
- Skilled teacher.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in television production.
- 2-5 years of experience teaching.
- Record of research and creative activity.
Supplemental Information
Key Competencies:
- Familiarity and skill using television production equipment and software.
- Ability to run a television news program/studio.
- Video and sound editing.
- Strong pedagogy skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move video equipment.
Job Conditions: In a television studio, outdoors for shooting various events and activities.
