Offer Description
The position is offered by the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Social Sciences and Psychology, within the field of Educational Sciences. It is a fixed-term Assistant Professor position, corresponding to Position 45 in the academic staff establishment.
The position includes teaching, seminar and practical activities in the following subjects: Pedagogy: Theories and Practices; Curriculum Theory and Methodology; Instruction: Theories, Design and Practices; Early Childhood Education; Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education. Teaching activities are conducted in Romanian.
The academic duties associated with the position include the preparation and delivery of seminar and practical activities, student assessment, development of teaching and learning materials, academic tutoring, and participation in research and departmental academic activities related to the field of Educational Sciences.

Skills/Qualifications
Demonstrated competence in Early Childhood Education and in the Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education. Ability to design and adapt age-appropriate learning activities for preschool and primary school children, in accordance with curriculum requirements and developmental characteristics. Competence in selecting and applying teaching strategies specific to early childhood, preschool and primary education, including play-based, experiential and interactive learning approaches. Ability to design and use assessment methods and tools appropriate to young children and primary school pupils, to develop educational resources and learning materials, and to integrate digital resources into teaching activities. Competence in planning, implementing and evaluating educational activities and in analysing learning and developmental processes specific to early and primary education.
Specific Requirements
Specific academic background in Educational Sciences, with training relevant to Early Childhood Education and Primary and Preschool Education.

Approval by the University Senate of the Competition Committee's Report on the outcome of the competition: by 22 October 2026.
