Job Overview

The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking an Endovascular fellowship trained neurosurgeon to facilitate subspecialty program growth, increase patient access and contribute to regional coverage expansion.
Essential Functions
- Bedside education of medical students and residents in the diagnosis and care of patients with cerebrovascular disease.
- Participate in the educating of students in neurosurgery and specialty-adjacent fields in specialty head and neck anatomy.
- Provide direct patient care including preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and handling emergency situations.
- Attend departmental and institutional meetings, contribute to governance, and assist in the preparation of educational materials.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research, quality improvement, and academic service.
Minimum Requirements
- MD or DO
- Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board
- Board certified/Board eligible
- Completion of ACGME Neurosurgery residency (7 years)
- Completion of Endovascular Neurosurgery Subspecialty Training or CAST Fellowship (1 year)
