Assistant Professor (Clinical) in School Psychology
The School Psychology Program at the University of Utah invites applications for a career line Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2026.
The School Psychology Program is comprised of an APA and NASP-accredited Ph.D. program and a NASP-accredited EdS program. With the addition of this hire, there will be six full time faculty positions - four tenure-line and two career line.
Required Qualifications: A doctoral degree from a school psychology program approved by APA; a record of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentorship; eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Utah.
Preferred Qualifications: Credential as a licensed Psychologist, Credential as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist; credential as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst; experience working as a school psychologist in a school-based setting; previous experience teaching courses at the graduate level.
Responsibilities:
- Design, teach, and coordinate core courses at the graduate level in critical areas of school psychology.
- Participate and provide leadership in interdisciplinary initiatives across the College of Education and University level.
- Provide appropriate levels of service at the program, college, and university levels, as well as to the community and profession.
