Offer Description
TASKS/ROLE
- design, synthesis, and optimization of functional coatings using magnetron sputtering systems by precisely controlling deposition parameters (power, pressure, gas composition, substrate temperature) to tailor coating properties such as thickness uniformity, crystallinity, and electrical or optical properties
- characterization of physicochemical properties
- conducting interdisciplinary research in the areas of materials science, electrochemistry, and surface physicochemistry
- processing results
- publishing research results in JCR-listed scientific journals

Skills/Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- doctoral degree in the field of: electronics or physics or materials engineering or a related discipline. The doctoral degree should be obtained within the 12 years preceding January 1, 2027
- documented scientific achievements confirmed by publications in JCR-listed journals (authorship of at least three articles in the last 3 years)
- experience in conducting experimental work in the field of magnetron sputtering DC, RF and particularly high-power pulsed magnetron sputtering
- experience working with physicochemical techniques such as SEM, XRD, and Raman spectroscopy
- fluent English
