Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Conduct teaching and patient care activities for the College of Dental Medicine with a primary role in the Community-Based Dental Education (CBDE) curriculum, as well as scholarly and service activities in support of the mission, goals and objectives of the College and University. This is a grant funded position.

Have recognized knowledge and experience in area of expertise.

Ability to effectively handle detail-oriented assignments and to maintain confidentiality; and
Abilities:
Ability to effectively deal with multiple responsibilities in an academic environment with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
Required Qualifications
Education:
D.D.S. or D.M.D from an institution accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or equivalent, and/or completion of an advanced dental residency program at an institution accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or equivalent.
Licensure and Certification:
Must have active California license or be qualified to obtain licensure in California.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Background in public health and community dentistry; comprehensive clinical experience spanning all ages (e.g. pediatric, geriatric, special health care needs); and experience in clinical practice and academics.
