Minimum required education and/or special licenses,
registrations, trainings, or certifications
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in
an area of Human Factors or a closely allied program such as
Engineering Psychology, Applied Cognition, and Human-Computer
Interaction;
- Candidates who provide evidence that their Ph.D. will be
conferred by July 25, 2027, will be considered for the
position.
Minimum required level and type of experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities
- Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for developing an
independent, funded research program and show accomplishments in
and/or potential for quality teaching and mentoring at the graduate
and undergraduate level.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a research program that
complements and expands that of current faculty within the
Department of Psychology.
Conditions of Employment
This is an on campus in person position that requires in person
teaching and mentoring.
