Job Summary
This position requires teaching a minimum of one course each
terrm (spring, summer, and fall). Courses are offered in a
variety of instructional modalities (e.g., in-person, online,
hybrid).
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate Classes
- Masters degree in Counseling, PhD is not required.
- Availability to teach evening undergraduate courses.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and
integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Graduate Classes
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP
accredited Program.
- LPC or LPC-S.
- Availability to teach evening graduate courses.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and
integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Texas School Counseling Certification.
- Two years or more post Counseling Degree clinical experience or
Graduate Counseling Course teaching experience.
- Texas LPC or LPC-S.
This position will work primarily on UT San Antonio
Downtown campus. Travel and parking expenses are the
employee's responsibility.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check.
Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record
(MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be
able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by
time of hire.
