Skills/Qualifications
- PhD obtained in the discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technology.
- Achievements in scientific work documented by scientific publications covering topics:
- environment perception with cameras, radars and lidars sensors
- acceleration of perception algorithms in embedded systems with FPGA devices
- automotive advanced driver assistance systems.
- Achievements in teaching, evidenced by experience in conducting classes in the field of mobile robotics as well as completion of a teaching improvement course.
- Organizational achievements.
- Knowledge of English at the level of at least B-2.
- Knowledge of the Polish language to the extent that it allows:
- communicating with members of the research teams,
- presentation of progress at symposia, meetings and scientific conferences,
- to prepare teaching materials (instructions, scripts),
- to conduct teaching activities (laboratories, lectures),
- candidates who are not Polish citizens should attach a certificate of knowledge of the Polish language at the level of at least C-1.
- Authorship or co-authorship of at least three articles in Impact Factor journals.
- Authorship or co-authorship of at least three papers at international scientific conferences.
- Author or coauthor of at least one granted patent.
- Experience in commercial and/or R&D projects (especially in companies developing autonomous solutions).
- Experience as a member of standardization committee.
The candidate for a position of research and teaching adjunct will be required to conduct scientific research and didactic work related to mobile robotics, perception algorithms, computation acceleration.
Within the scope of the adjunct's duties, they will conduct teaching classes in the field of mobile robotics in Polish and English as a medium of instruction (at least B2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required).

The recruitment procedure is divided into two stages:
- formal assessment – assessment of the completeness of the application documents and compliance with the requirements specified in the Act, the AGH University Statute, and the competition announcement,
- substantive assessment – an objective and merit-based assessment of applications submitted by candidates who have successfully passed the previous stage; interviews with candidates may be conducted at this stage (either in person or remotely).
