Assistant Professor in Accounting - Tenure Track

Position Responsibilities:We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our faculty and teach a range of undergraduate courses in accounting, business, and the liberal arts. Primary teaching responsibilities will include:
- Principles of Accounting II
- Intermediate Accounting I
- Advanced Accounting
- Introduction to Taxation
- Data Management and Analysis
The standard teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year, with additional participation in the College’s distinctive Immersive Term once every three years. In addition to teaching, faculty members are expected to actively contribute to the life of the College by advising students, supervising internships, serving on committees, and engaging in departmental and institutional initiatives—such as teaching in the first-year seminar program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- CPA license (active or inactive)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant professional experience in accounting and taxation
- Teaching or training experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to engaged, student-centered teaching and learning, an openness to pedagogical innovation, and a sincere interest in working with undergraduates in a supportive liberal arts environment. Evidence of effective teaching, coaching, training, or formal classroom experience is preferred.
