Job Description
Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in Applied Microeconomics, beginning in Fall 2027. The successful candidate is expected to engage in high-quality research publishable in top journals, be an effective classroom teacher who will contribute to the curriculum at all levels, and assist students in research projects, theses, and dissertations. Candidates with empirical and computational skills, including modern data analysis methods, are encouraged to apply.
The Department of Economics at Binghamton University operates PhD, MA, and undergraduate programs. Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- PhD by August 16, 2027
- Research conducted primarily in the field of Applied Microeconomics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching and/or advising
