Assistant Professor in areas of retail strategy, innovation, and consumer insight
Located in downtown Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city in Canada and on the territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Mississaugas of the Credit and the Wendat Peoples, the Department of Retail in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University invites applications for a Limited Term Faculty (LTF) position at the rank of Assistant Professor in areas of retail strategy, innovation, and consumer insight. The appointment shall be effective July 1, 2026, for a one-year term, subject to final budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will engage only in the teaching and service duties of faculty members in the Department of Retail, while maintaining an inclusive, equitable, and collegial work environment across such activities. The candidate will contribute to our undergraduate BComm (Hons) through teaching and service.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in retail or a closely related field by the appointment date. Experience working in the retail industry is required.
