Assistant Professor in Econometrics and Industrial Organization

The Department of Economics is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in all fields, with a particular emphasis on econometrics and industrial organization. The appointee will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, though a higher rank may be considered exceptionally. The start date is August 1, 2026.
Duties: Teaching, research, and service to the institution. All McGill faculty members must participate in service activities within their unit, the University, and the academic community.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold or be near completion of a PhD. They should demonstrate exceptional research potential, effective teaching abilities at undergraduate and graduate levels, and achievements or intentions in supervision and mentoring of students from diverse backgrounds.

Level: Assistant Professor
Salary: Based on qualifications and experience.
