"Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering"

The Department of Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor with a research background in Electrical Engineering, particularly in microelectronics, high-frequency electronics, and bioelectronics. This position is expected to start in July 2026, subject to budgetary approval.

The successful candidate will conduct active and innovative research programs and teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must possess a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, an established record of excellence in research leading to peer-reviewed publications, and be registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. Strong teaching potential and excellent English communication skills are required.

The position involves a 40% Research, 40% Teaching, and 20% Service workload. The Department offers various undergraduate and graduate programs in Engineering.
