Anticipated Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or related fields, although ABD near completion (before July 1, 2027) will be considered. Candidates should have a strong record or promise in both research and teaching within the finance discipline. This will be an entry level position and please note that we will only be hiring an Assistant Professor. The position is open to all areas of finance.
Successful candidates for the position must have:
- Demonstrated research potential in the field of Finance, as evidenced by top-tier journal publications and R&Rs, presentations at top-tier conferences, best paper awards, or other indicators of a strong research trajectory;
- Ability (a) to publish in top-tier business journals and (b) to maintain a highly productive research agenda;
- Ability to effectively teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, MFin, and PhD) levels;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to a business audience.
