The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of courses in the Physics degree programs as well as courses supporting a range of degree programs at UNBC. Preference will be given to applicants with the interest and ability to teach a wide range of Physics undergraduate courses (First- through Fourth-Year) as well as MSc graduate courses. Candidates will also be expected to supervise research with undergraduate and graduate students.
UNBC is ranked as one of Canada’s top small research-intensive universities with a main campus in Prince George and three additional campuses across northern BC. UNBC provides broad support for faculty to develop their research and teaching capabilities, a strong mandate for growth, a modern and comprehensive campus, and a distinct quality of life in central British Columbia.
Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related discipline. Ideally, applicants will have post-doctoral and/or professional experience, demonstrated teaching experience at the University level. The successful candidate will have a growing record of scholarly activity, as well as present evidence of and commitment to teaching excellence.
