Job Description:

The Department of Psychology at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August, 2026. Applicants should have teaching and research interests in research methods, biopsychology, and health psychology. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts and sciences environment is essential. The successful applicant will be expected to actively mentor and support undergraduate research. In addition, opportunities to teach in the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program exist as well as mentoring master level student research. The teaching load is 21 credit hours over 2 semesters, which is typically 7 courses per academic year.

Consideration of complete applications will begin February 20, 2026 and continue until the position is filled.

Requirements:

A doctoral degree in Psychology is expected by August, 2026.
