Skills/Qualifications
- Professional qualifications confirmed by a doctoral degree in the field of Engineering and Technology, in the discipline of Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies or Materials Engineering, or in the field of Natural Sciences, in the discipline of Chemical Sciences.
- Scientific achievements documented by publications in journals included in the current List of Scientific Journals and Peer-Reviewed Conference Proceedings, in the fields of solid-state physics, semiconductor technology, infrared detector technology, materials engineering, or related research areas.
- Experience in conducting or co-conducting courses at a technical higher education institution.
- Active participation in international and national scientific conferences, including oral presentations delivered in English and Polish.
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level) and Polish.
Specific Requirements
- Knowledge of solid-state physics and the design and operating principles of infrared detectors.
- Knowledge of measurement methodologies for semiconductor structures.
- Experience in semiconductor technology and in the characterization of semiconductor materials and structures.
- Experience in the analysis and interpretation of experimental research results.
- Ability to prepare and present research results.
- Documented experience in writing scientific papers in English.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and availability to perform the duties associated with the position.

Additional comments
A candidate for the position of assistant professor in the group of research and teaching staff should have experience in both research and teaching activities. This experience should be confirmed by scientific achievements, in particular a doctoral dissertation in the discipline of chemical sciences and at least three publications indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database. Documented teaching experience in conducting or co-conducting classes at a technical university is also required. The person employed in this position will conduct research and teaching activities in the field of analytical chemistry, with particular emphasis on instrumental analysis of hazardous substances using ionization detectors.
