Offer Description
The Faculty is looking for a highly qualified academic employee to conduct teaching activities in the field of psychology, pedagogy, personal development and soft skills.
The candidate is expected to hold a doctoral degree in the discipline of pedagogy or a related discipline, enabling them to conduct classes at the academic level, as well as a master's degree in psychology, providing substantive preparation for conducting classes in the field of interpersonal communication, personal development, social competences and other issues related to human functioning in the educational and professional environment.
The candidate should have significant experience in teaching in higher education, including at least 10 years of experience as an assistant professor, as well as a documented track record in the field of student education. Professional experience in psychological or therapeutic work, including independent work with clients or patients, is also required.
In addition, pedagogical qualifications and professional experience gained in educational institutions are necessary, in particular experience in working as a psychologist in a school or other educational institution.
An additional advantage will be the completion of postgraduate studies in coaching, personal development or related areas, as well as experience in conducting trainings, workshops and trainings developing soft skills, such as interpersonal communication, team cooperation, stress management or development of social skills. The ability to work with groups diverse in terms of educational and psychosocial needs will be particularly appreciated.
The candidate should meet the requirements set out in the applicable legal regulations concerning the employment of academic teachers, in particular have the required qualifications, full legal capacity, enjoy full public rights and not be convicted by a final judgment for a crime committed intentionally.

Skills/Qualifications

- Pedagogical preparation and experience in working in an educational institution, including working as a psychologist in a school or educational institution
- Knowledge of English at least B2 level
- Excellent knowledge of Polish

The recruitment procedure is divided into two stages:
- formal assessment – assessment of the completeness of the application documents and compliance with the requirements specified in the Act, the AGH University Statute, and the competition announcement,
- substantive assessment – an objective and merit-based assessment of applications submitted by candidates who have successfully passed the previous stage; interviews with candidates may be conducted at this stage (either in person or remotely).
The candidate has the right to appeal against the competition results within 5 working days after receiving the notification.
