"Assistant Professor in Women and Gender Studies (1-year Limited Term)"

The Women and Gender Studies Program at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a one-year Limited Term appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Women and Gender Studies beginning May 1, 2026, subject to budgetary approval.

The Women and Gender Studies program is an interdisciplinary program that engages the study of gender, intersectionality and social justice.

The successful candidate will have an ongoing research program and the ability to teach in at least two (2) of the following areas: Sexuality, gender, and/or race; reproductive and environmental justice; intersectional and decolonial feminisms. Candidates must have a PhD. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Women and Gender Studies, or a closely-related discipline.

Anticipated Salary Range: $80K to 110K. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience.
