Assistant Professor, Management (1-Year Limited)

The Management and Marketing Department at Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, 1-year limited role for the position of Assistant Professor, Management.

The Assistant Professor of Management will teach the academic areas of fundamentals of management, human resource, and operations. Service responsibilities will include innovative teaching, administrative support in the School of Business, attend to needs and service of the program and advising.

Rhode Island College is a regional comprehensive public college, serving approximately 6,400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students through its five schools: The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. Established in 1854, Rhode Island College is the state’s first public institution of higher education. The College is located on a beautiful 180-acre suburban campus in the vibrant city of Providence, and has satellite locations at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center in Providence’s Innovation District and the Rhode Island College Workforce Development Hub in Central Falls.

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a related field or Master’s degree and actively engaged in pursuit of an appropriate accredited terminal degree in an appropriate field of study.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bilingual
• Experience working with and mentoring a diverse student population.
• Willingness to adopt a leadership role.

Baseline Minimum Salary: $68,501
