Assistant Professor - Math
North Idaho College is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Professor of Mathematics to join our faculty in a full-time, tenure-track role starting Spring Semester. This position plays a vital part in preparing students for success by teaching a range of mathematics courses, which may include general education math, technical math, or statistics.
As an instructor, you will teach at least 15 credits, maintain office and campus hours to support student success, and advise students using established college procedures. You will design engaging syllabi, select affordable and effective learning resources, and assess student learning outcomes to continually refine instruction. In addition, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, participate in college committees, support student recruitment, and mentor adjunct faculty.
The ideal candidate will bring proven classroom leadership, a passion for fostering student enthusiasm in mathematics, and the ability to teach diverse learners using innovative methods. Strong communication skills, proficiency with technology and instructional tools, and sensitivity to the needs of students from all backgrounds are essential.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, or related field required. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds.
Starting pay range: $52,359 - $72,670

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: This position has summers off! Regular schedule is mid-Aug to mid-May with pay and benefits over 12 months. Starts SP26 semester
