Assistant Professor - Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics of Baruch College - CUNY invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position beginning on or about August 28, 2026 at the assistant professor level. The department is seeking a candidate whose research interests intersect with those of our faculty, including combinatorics, number theory, financial mathematics, probability, and computer science.
Baruch College, located in the historic Gramercy Park/Flatiron district of Manhattan, is one of eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY), housing the Zicklin School of Business, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. It serves a diverse student body of over 19,000, committed to access and excellence in higher education.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field is required, as well as strong undergraduate teaching skills and a demonstrated commitment to research.
Compensation: $87,978 - $105,593, commensurate with qualifications and experience. CUNY offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance, pension, and paid parental leave.
