ANNOUNCEMENT OF A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (M/F) – Management
at the Rev. Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław
I am announcing a competition for the post of Assistant Professor (M/F) within the full-time teaching staff at the Rev. Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław. The competition is open to individuals who meet the conditions set out in the Act on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).
Job description/scope of duties:
- Conducting didactic classes,
- Conducting research,
- Preparing academic publications and participating in research projects,
- Active participation in the teaching, research and organisational activities of the Department, the Faculty and the University.
1. Qualification requirements:
- holding a PhD in the social sciences, in the discipline of management and quality,
- current academic output in the field of management,
- teaching achievements (experience in delivering teaching sessions, primarily in the following areas: market research methods, economics, marketing management, knowledge management and customer service management),
- relevant professional experience gained outside the university in the field of management,
- seniority as an academic teacher,

- Declaration of participation in the competition

- copies of diplomas: MSc/Ma, PhD
- Curriculum Vitae;
- personal questionnaire for job applicants,
- consent clause for job applicants,
- no-criminal record statement,
- documented professional experience,
- list of scientific, didactic and organisational achievements,
- declaration that Rev. Bronislaw Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław will be the primary place of work in the event of winning the competition,

The deadline for submitting documents will be met provided that they are received by the University by 16.09.2026 (Wednesday). Foreign language documents submitted to the competition must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator. In the event of obtaining a professional title outside Poland, a document confirming the equivalence of the obtained title with its Polish equivalent shall be attached (if the issuance of such a document is provided for by the applicable legal regulations). Good knowledge of Polish is required.
We will contact only selected candidates. The University reserves the right to cancel the competition procedure at any stage without giving any reason. The outcome of the competition, which will be announced by 30 September 2026, shall not be equivalent to establishing an employment relationship with PANS in Jarosław. The final decision shall be made by the Rector Magnificus.
Failure to inform the candidate(s) of the results of the competition will be tantamount to rejection of their offer. The person selected through the competition procedure for employment, who will be entrusted with tasks related to activities covered by the protection of minors, shall be required to submit a certificate of no criminal record issued by the National Criminal Register (KRK).
