- Providing mentorship and guidance to graduate assistants and
collaborating with adjunct faculty teaching in the sculpture
area.
- Contributing to a collaborative, cross-disciplinary
departmental environment.
- The teaching load consists of a 2/2/2/3 load, typically
teaching two studio art courses each long semester and three studio
art courses during one semester in every four-semester cycle

Required Qualifications
- Master of Fine Arts degree with demonstrated expertise in
Sculpture/3D art.
- Evidence of active professional artistic practice and
exhibition record.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Ability to teach 3D Foundations and advanced undergraduate and
graduate Sculpture courses.
- Knowledge of current safety and health standards in sculpture
studios.
- Experience working collaboratively with students, faculty, and
staff in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to effectively serve and promote a varied student
population.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching expertise in areas such as figurative sculpture,
woodworking, fabrication, metal casting, mold-making, soft
sculpture, or installation.
- Experience integrating digital fabrication technologies such as
3D scanning and printing into traditional 3D media.
- Ability to mentor, teach, and provide leadership to graduate
students across disciplines.
- Knowledge of historical, theoretical, and contemporary
developments in Sculpture.
- Leadership experience in studio-based educational
settings.
