FLSA: Exempt Recruitment: Internal and External Start date: 8/11/26 Position Information: The Division of Business at Mayville State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Business, beginning Fall 2026 semester. This position is responsible for teaching university business courses. This is not a remote position. Duties & Responsibilities Deliver a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year (12 credits per semester) within the undergraduate Business Administration and/or MS in Leadership programs. Develop and teach courses in multiple formats (face-to-face, online: synchronous and/or asynchronous) Advising and mentoring students Create syllabi and prepare materials and curriculum for assigned courses Participating in program development, planning, and assessment activities This position is 80% teaching and 20% service to the division, university, and community. Examples of this service would include assisting in recruiting and retention activities and serving on committees. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Management, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline; relevant business or industry experience.
