Job Details The Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal Carolina University announces a full-time tenure track position in Counselor Education beginning
August 2027. The M.Ed. in Counseling Program includes both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling specialization areas. The successful candidate will teach graduate counseling courses within the M.Ed. in Counseling Program using both in-person and virtual modalities, provide clinical supervision for School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling internship students, advise graduate students, participate in scholarship and professional service, contribute to assessment and continuous improvement initiatives, and support the program’s pursuit and maintenance of CACREP accreditation. The faculty member will collaborate closely with program faculty and community partners while contributing to the preparation of ethical, culturally responsive, and clinically competent professional counselors. The faculty and administrators in the Spadoni College, along with professional staff across the University, will provide meaningful support for the successful candidate’s teaching and scholarship as elements of their personal and professional career development.
