Overview The Department of Economics invites applications for one tenure track position at the assistant professor level beginning in the Fall 2027. We are interested in macroeconomists who specialize in economic growth and related long-term economic issues (innovation, human capital, climate change, income distribution, etc.) or public policy (fiscal, macro-prudential, etc.). The new hire will be expected to teach principles of macroeconomics and electives in their fields of specialization. Salary: $85,000-$100,000 Education and Experience Candidates are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in Economics prior to the start date, have evidence of promise in research, and have demonstrated a capacity for effective teaching and a willingness to be active in service to Providence College and the community.
