"Assistant Professor of Engineering"

Chapman University’s Fowler School of Engineering is seeking an Assistant Professor of Engineering in Orange, CA. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and conducting research in the Fowler School of Engineering with a focus in such areas as quantum optics, quantum information sciences, ultrafast optics, metamaterials and metasurfaces and scattering phenomena. Develop curriculum and prepare course materials. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Participate in faculty decision-making in department committees. Required qualifications include Ph.D., or equivalent, in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
