The position will begin in the Fall of 2027. We seek candidates with an established and growing record of publication and evidence of effective teaching at the college level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including first-year writing courses, upper-division courses in language, writing, and rhetoric, and graduate courses in our MA in Language & Literacy - an interdisciplinary program that prepares future teachers of adults in diverse educational programs. The standard workload for this position is 18 credits per year (a 3/3 teaching load). The candidate will also be expected to maintain an active agenda of publication and participate in student mentoring and departmental and college service activities in a large public university setting.
