Overview
The Department of English at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of English, with a specialty in Romanticism, beginning Fall 2026. Teaching load is 9 credit hours per semester. Ph.D. expected by Fall, 2026. Teaching includes courses at all levels in the English Department, as well as a willingness to participate in one or more interdisciplinary programs, including Development of Western Civilization and Liberal Arts Honors. New faculty may also have the opportunity to participate in other interdisciplinary programs.
