• Teaching experience in higher education
• Demonstrated contribution in research in chronic disease prevention and/or treatment through clinical and/or community programming
• Record of involvement in internally and/or externally funded grants
• Research interest aligned with federal health research priorities
• Record of professional service
• Exercise Science certification such as ACSM -EP, ACSM - CEP, and others appropriate for specialization
