Role Overview

The successful candidate will:

• Teach in their research specialization and survey modules in global history and related areas.
• Design and deliver core and optional modules for the BA Joint Honours and Bachelor of Religious Education with History programs.
• Potentially teach on other School programs (e.g., MA in History) and Faculty programs (e.g., BA Single Module program).
• Supervise postgraduate students and contribute to research initiatives.
• Publish regularly in leading journals and university presses.
• Apply for external research funding with School support.

• A PhD in History or a closely related field (implied for academic appointment).
• Evidence of research excellence (publications, grants, conferences).
• Ability and willingness to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
