laboratory courses and the corresponding lecture courses; develop or implement valid assessments of student learning in undergraduate chemistry courses. This position will also participate in teaching assistant training and mentoring, delivering laboratory lectures, conducting office hours, evaluating the academic progress of students, submitting course grades, and performing other administrative duties as required. Applicants must have completed a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Education, or a related field, must have demonstrated excellence in teaching, experience in supervising/overseeing a laboratory, and have an interest in advancing and publishing educational innovations. This position is a full-time, benefits eligible, 9-month, continuing faculty position with an initial appointment of three years.

Salary
The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000.
This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation.
