The Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science at Christopher Newport University invites applications for one tenure track assistant professor position in Kinesiology (Biology), effective August 2026. The Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Biology, or a closely related field is required for appointment. The department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to their success. In some cases, exceptionally well-qualified candidates may be considered for appointment at a higher rank and ABD candidates who will not hold the Ph.D. by the time of appointment may be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor.
